The library, located temporarily on the 2nd floor of G building is your home base for library research. The librarian at the Reference Desk can help you begin your research by showing you how to search the catalog for books, and the databases for articles on your topic. When your paper is complete, the librarian can show you how to use the citation tools to complete your Works Cited page.
Welcome to the LibGuide created for your assignment for English 101 with Jim Oliverio. This guide will serve as a reminder of what we talk about today and help you complete your research paper from chosing a topic, to finding books and articles, and finally creating your Works Cited page in MLA format.
Circulating books are located in G-209. To take a book out of the library, you need your NCCC ID card with the 13 digit number on the back. Bring the books or media to the Circulation Desk to sign them out. The Reserve books are now found in G-201. Ask here for copies of textbooks or other material your instructor placed in the library to help you.
