Explore the content on the Home tab and the Training Programs tab to get information on WIOA GOALS Program, Courses, and Contact Information.
The Career Resources tab provides many paths to discover your skill sets and explore different careers.
The tabs for the individual programs outline each course description in the GOALS program and link you to library resources here at NCCC as well as link you to other websites and Ebooks appropriate to that specific course. As a student in the GOALS program, you can get database access to only campus computers (you won't be able to access library databases from off campus). The Lewis Library at the Sanborn Campus does invite you to access databases onsite at the library and apply for a “community borrower” card at the library circulation desk, which would allow you to check out books.
NCCC offers Workforce Development and Continuing Education grant opportunities through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) grant. Certificate training classes are taken at no cost for eligible youth ages 17-24 who are looking to further their skills in a short period of time for better employment and career options.
